US Trip Part VII, Philadelphia & Washington DC
I was trying to make Philadelphia a separate part, but our short stay there makes it impossible.
We checked out from our hotel at New Jersey at 9 am, before lunch time, we found ourselves at the square where erected the Liberty Bell. Philadelphia is holy city in the sense of revolution, just like Yan’an in China, I saw many school kids were organized in group tour.

Here buried Benjamin Franklin and his wife.

Inside the Franklin Courtyard, the building supposed to be the original, in the first floor, that is a post office now.

In the street, I saw many this type of tour bus.

A boy by the end of a tour bus, hi to me.

This photo was taken on the way to Washington, a big and clean truck.

We were approaching Washington, I like this type of tree, don’t know its name.
We didn’t have any tour in Washington, by the time we arrived, it was evening. The traffic in Washington was not good at all, we moved very slowly to our dinner restaurant.

Trees are just blossom, but we were told about one week late for the peak time. Our second day in Washington started at the Korean Monument, I like the design of this site.
By the way, the weather on that day was extremely hot, about 35 degrees, I was lucky again to change into summer shorts at the hotel.

In the afternoon, our last day of visit, we didn’t have much to go, just the Aviation Museum.

And the White House.

On the way back from downtown, our US schedule was fully finished, everyone was still high, but a little tired, especially thinking about our next day’s long distance flight, 13 hours!

On the way back, our flight was about half occupied, so everyone got a business class treatment, I got a double seat by the window. During my returning 13 hours flight, I slept about 20 minutes, not too bad…eh…and I took a picture when we were at the north, very north of our planet.
That is it, the tour of US. See you next time!
