I got to know this proverb from an American lady, all together 6 of us had a 2 days tour around Beijing, the first day 24th was just fine, but still a little foggy, the second day on 25th, the weather was gloomy at first, by evening it was raining and cold.
I am going to Egypt today, there will be very hot. Hopefully when I back, Beijing will be in a real spring.

The 2nd snow arrived as expected on 10th of Nov, and it was another heavy one! I took some photos in the hutongs around Dongsi Area.
Today, 1st Nov., here comes the first snow of 2009, and the snow is a heavy one, it just come without much expectation. I didn’t see such a heavy snow for some time I think, the sky is so generous this year.
Today is the 3rd following sunny day.
The sky is beautiful anyway, white cloud and blue sky, but I still hate the sun in this most unwelcome time.
3 days after the Summer Solstice of 2009, on 23rd of June, Beijing experienced a very hot day, 42.3 degree Celsius, the hotest day since 1951 record.
Now the weather is hot but dry, so it is still tolerable, by the middle of July till August, the most humid days will come.
Weather said it will snow this morning, but it didn’t come. Today is a gloomy day, maybe there will be some snowing tonight?

Beijing seen the most cold wave ever in almost 11 years.
This is the first night after the summer, that the cold in the night breaks my sleep, have to get something thick. I can feel the winter is coming soon.
But just 2 weeks ago, we were still in summer, and sunshine was burning, now everyone love the sun.
